Legal & General to Offer Will-writing Services

Legal & General, a UK leading provider of investment and insurance services, announced that it will soon offer advisors and their clients will-writing services. The service called Choices will be provided by Final Duties, independent probate wills broker.
Choices service will be accessible to member advisers of Legal & General, who will be able to contact the Institute of Professional Will Writers and professional solicitors.
Commenting on the move, Esther Dijkstra, L&G commercial and marketing director, said that the company aims to help advisers provide their clients with the highest quality of expertise. Mr. Sendall of Final Duties said that his firm has been working with L&G for more than 10 years and that he is determined Choices will be demanded by clients.
Let us remind that last month the Institute of Professional Will Writers and the Society of Will Writers called for stricter regulation in the will-writing sector because too much malpractice in this sphere has been registered.
