UK Van Drivers Concerned Over Fire and Accidental Damage Cover

The latest survey carried out by a UK-based van insurance firm, Swinton Commercial, showed that more than 40% of British van drivers consider fire and accidental damage cover to be the most important insurance criteria.
The survey, which was carried online among 12,000 van drivers, demonstrated that an average of 41.8% of respondents are mostly concerned with fire and accidental damage when it comes to choosing van insurance. A further 35.2% say that the most important insurance criteria are theft and deliberate damage. Other responds include legal liability (11.5%), van contents (7.1%), and breakdown cover (4.4%).
In the opinion of Mr. Moss, commercial vehicle manager of Swinton Commercial, the choice of proper van insurance cover is a complicated matter, especially as there is a large number of insurance criteria to be considered.
