Breakdown Cover Gift Cards Launched by RAC

RAC - a UK-based vehicle breakdown providing services and products for motorists - announced the launch of a gift card worth £29.

This is a special Christmas offer, which covers 1 breakdown. The card must be purchased and registered and then used within one year from the date of registration.

The credit-size gift card is available at 600 Shell locations.

Commenting on the launch of this new product, Ms. Gabriel who takes the position of marketing manager at RAC, said that "new and relevant ways of purchasing cover will appeal to consumers and ensure we have a presence in new emerging markets.  Retail gift cards are increasing in popularity - more people received a voucher or a gift card from friends, family and colleagues last Christmas than ever before."

She highlighted that at the moment RAC is the only company providing breakdown cover gift cards. She is determined that their availability at Shell petrol stations will make it easy for drivers to access the product, and, thus, will reveal their awareness of RAC.
