Fortis UK to Provide Travel Insurance for Tesco Bank

Recently Tesco Bank announced it has agreed a £59 million deal with Fortis UK, according to which the latter will provide travel insurance to thousands of Brits. Let us remind that a year earlier these companies have agreed similar deals on car and household insurance.

The deal on travel insurance, which will last for 5 years, has been described by chief executive of Tesco Bank, Mr. Higgins, as an important step in further financial development of the supermarket chain. He believes that Fortis UK is a good business partner as it is characterised by high-quality customer service and professional product development. The latter is very important for Tesco as it needs support and good marketing to provide its customers with attractive offers.

Mr. Smith of Fortis UK also said that the agreed deal is important for the company as it helps create 30 new jobs and, thus, promotes profitable growth of the insurer.
