Pentagone Federal Credit Union Has Removed Foreign Transaction Fees on Travel Cards

Pentagone Federal Credit Union has announced that its Premium Travel Rewards American Express(R) Card will no longer have any foreign transaction fees. This credit card for frequent travellers is a part of AmEx’s global merchant network and is quite popular among consumers who travel internationally.

Nico Butler, Vice President of Card Services and Business Development, believes that the new incentive will make their offer one of the best in the marketplace. Since cardholders usually have to pay 3% or 5% foreign transaction fees people who travel a lot are likely to go for the new deal.

Pentagon Federal Credit Union tries to make the offer especially attractive for those who are in the military. By removing the foreign transaction fee the company hopes to support cardholders who are on duty in other countries.

With the Premium Travel Rewards Card frequent flyers can earn reward points for air travel, hotel stays and dining. There are no limits on the number of points the cardholder can earn.
