More Banks Partner with Universities to Teach Students to Manage Bank Accounts

PNC Bank and DePaul University have partnered to provide banking education and services for college students and staff. Special attention will be given to information about financial accountability and money management. Students will learn about student current accounts as well as student loans offered by the bank.
Students and teachers at DePaul University are now able to link their university identity card to PNC bank accounts. So now their campus card, previously used for daily functions such as checking library books, entering residence halls and accessing meal plans, has ATM and purchases power.
PNC Bank is going to install its ATMs and financial service centers at different campus locations. Student and faculty can use their co-branded PNC Bank Visa Check Card anywhere Visa cards are accepted.
University students can also go to PNC website and apply for a bank account. They can also ask bank experts for financial advice.
DePaul University is the largest catholic university in the United States.

It is probably time we did something about growing debt. However, I think we need to teach kids a little earlier than that, starting at school, or even nursery.
