20% Discount on Pet Insurance with The Co-op

One of the British insurance companies, The Co-operative, recently announced its commitment to celebrate National Pet Month. In an attempt to do so, the company is offering a 20% discount all its clients who buy pet insurance policy online.

There are 2 pet insurance policy options - Classic and Select Plus. The first one provides cover for any illness at the maximum amount of 2,000 pounds and is sustained for 12 months from the date the condition was identified. The second one offers lifetime cover provided the policy is renewed annually.

Commenting on the launch of the discounted offer which is valid through May, 31 2012, Lee Mooney of The Co-operative, said: "If a pet were to fall ill or become injured the cost without insurance could run into hundreds, or even thousands of pounds, to get the pet well again, which is why we have introduced the 20 per cent discount on policies at a time of year where pets typically become more active."
