Tim Jones Appointed Chief Executive at NEST

Tim Jones Appointed Chief Executive at NEST

Let us remind that the British Government decided to introduce NEST - National Employment Savings Trust - from the year of 2012. This program will oblige all UK employers to enroll workers into a state-based private pension fund. Recently it has been announced that Tim Jones was appointed chief executive of NEST.

This man worked at NatWest for more than 15 years and knows how to deal with millions of clients and small payments.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mr. Jones said that "in terms of dimension, Nest is much like NatWest's retail bank. I love transactions, and this is all about transactions."

He added that although the official launch of NEST is planned for 2012, he will try to enroll most employers in advance because his experience at NatWest tells Mr. Jones that "you never know what works until it's in the hands of live customers."
