Personal Injury in Thailand to Bear Fruit in the UK

A British lady might set a legal precedent if she files her claim associated with personal injury compensation to the travel company.
Having departed to Thailand for their 40th wedding anniversary, Mrs. Sylvia Brown, aged 60, and Mr. John Brown, aged 64, lived through a series of dramatic events. During the travel on a train, Mrs. Brown was injured severely as the result of the sudden train stop. As she was transported to Thai hospital, it turned out that she had broken her neck. Mrs. Brown was left tetraplegic.
After staying 14 days in the hospital in Thailand, the elderly family was flown back to England, where they had to put their bungalow on sale as it could not have been turned into a handicapped-accessible house.
At the moment, Mrs. and Mr. Brown are planning to file a personal injury claim against the Thai train company and Bath Travel - the travel company that sold the tour. The couple will try to get the compensation not only for the injury itself, but also for the associated rehabilitation, transportation and moving costs.
