UK Motorcyclists Have Sunday Bikes – Swinton Insurance

The latest research carried out by Swinton Insurance, one of the leading providers of bike cover in the UK, revealed that one in three Brits have more than one motorbike. The survey carried out online involved more than 1,200 motorcyclists, 32% of who said that they have a work bike and a weekend bike.

Swinton Insurance opinion poll also showed that 65% of UK motorcyclists are living for the Sunday as they have a separate bike that they ride only on this day of the week. Of these Sunday bikers, 90% said that they have chosen a special motorbike model, which is characterised by high speed and excellent style.

Experts at Swinton Bike Insurance were able to compile a list of the most popular bikes based on the answers of those people who took part in the survey.

As such, the 1st place is taken by Harley Davidson CVO FAT BOB, which is followed by Yamaha YZF R1, Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade, Kawasaki ZX-10R, Ducati Hypermotard, KTM 690 Supermoto, BMW S1000RR and others. The list ends with MV Agusta F4 1078RR 312.
