Barclays Partnered with Aviva and L&G

One of the leading UK banks signed an agreement with 2 major insurance companies, Aviva and L&G, for popular insurance products.

Barclays recently signed an agreement with Aviva and Legal & General for insurance products.

Now, these insurance companies will provide bank's retail customers with mortgage life assurance and critical illness protection (Legal & General), and life assurance and personal accident insurance (Aviva).

Ten years ago, Barclays has already signed a similar agreement with Legal & General for mortgage protection cover.

Commenting on the latest move by Barclays, Chris Last of L&G, said: "It is a great pleasure to build on our strong relationship with Barclays by providing family, as well as mortgage protection products to its retail customers on an advised basis."

Ant Middle of Aviva, in his turn, said that "In growing our relationship with Barclays, we will provide a simple way for its customers to buy life and personal accident insurance in way that suits their individual needs."
