Investors’ Interest in UK Property Improved in Q2

A recent report by DTZ, a global real estate adviser headquartered in London, suggests that UK property market improved in Q2 2011 and regained the interest of British and foreign investors.
"The DTZ Fair Value Index score for the UK stands at 50, indicating that investment market attractiveness has improved significantly since Q1, when the score was a low 28," states the report.
In the report, entitled "UK Fair Value Q2 2011", DTZ suggests that London remained the most popular investment option among investors. Rentals in the UK capital rose by 12.5%. It is followed by Nottingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham. These cities mostly interest the investors because of their industrial property markets, which are expected to grow significantly by 2015.
