Jamaica’s Half Moon Added to RockResorts Portfolio

A recent announcement from RockResorts International suggests that sophisticated travellers will be able to enjoy high-quality brand resorts on Jamaica.

RockResorts expanded its chain by adding Half Moon luxury resort, located in Rose Hall, Jamaica to its portfolio. The property will be transferred to RockResorts' management team on January, 1st 2011.

Half Moon is a luxury resort that has a territory of 400 acres and 398 units for accommodation. It also features such amenities as SPA-salon, golf course, tennis courts, dolphin lagoon, 54 swimming pools and much more.

Commenting on the acquisition of the property, Mr. Toner of RockResorts said that the company is very happy to "welcome Half Moon... which is... internationally known as one of the best Caribbean resorts... into our family of RockResort properties."

The management staff at Half Moon, in their turn, said that they are pleased to have teamed up “with RockResorts and firmly believe that together with their experience in resort operations, a commitment to common values and the founding families' leadership, Half Moon will continue to evolve and thrive.”
