AXA Improves Its Healthcare Insurance Policies

Yesterday, on January 11th UK insurance provider AXA announced that it introduces changes to its healthcare insurance policy with immediate effect for those policyholders suffering from cancer and heart disease.

From now on, AXA PPP will provide full coverage for licensed cancer drugs and will waiver tests and consultations required for cancer treatment.

Those suffering from heart problems, will enjoy extended Freephone Dedicated Nurse service.

AXA also said it's dedicated to issue cancer and heart patients benefits up to 150 pounds and 5,000 pounds towards wigs and prostheses respectively.

Commenting on the changes to the insurance policy, Fergus Craig, commercial director, said: "We want our members to be confident that, if they need treatment for cancer or a heart problem, we're committed to supporting them - not just by settling their medical bills but also by helping them through our Dedicated Nurse service and by providing additional benefits that can help to make life a little easier when they need it most."
