Towergate Warns Brits of Possible Burglaries

As the clocks are expected to go back and nights will get longer and darker, Towergate urges Brits to protect themselves against burglars.
Jonathan Walker of Towergate offered several anti-burglar tips to all UK homeowners:
- keep the lights on when staying at home during the evening
- set a timer for the lights when going on holiday or away
- keep the doors and the windows locked
- do not keep valuables near the windows or next to the doors
- install high-quality locks
- employ anti-burglar alarm or install one
- buy contents insurance to protect all your belongings
“With thousands of pounds worth of tempting presents in your home it's essential to not only keep an eye on your locks and security but also ensure that you have adequate protection in place,” said Mr. Waler of Towergate.
