Brits Can Save Up to 125 Pounds a Year on Home Insurance

According to the latest research by MoneySupermarket, Brits are wasting 125 pounds per household, or 687 million pounds in total per year by not switching insurance providers.
Of those questioned, 29% had automatic renewal of home insurance, with this figure beign the highest in Wales and Scotland (33%). Further 7% said they believe they won't a better deal; 8% had no time or desire to shop around for home insurance.
Commenting on the findings, Hannah Mercedes-Skenfield of MoneySupermarket, said: "Insurance apathy rules in UK homes. But ask yourself, is it worth paying such a hefty price for the convenience? How many of us would really say no to £125?"
She highlighted combined policies are worth considering. “Combined policies tend to offer the best value as well as providing comprehensive cover for your home and garden against problems,” she said. Shopping around is the best, quickest and most efficient way to find the best house insurance deal.
