Lots of New Jobs to Be Created in UK by 2015 – Google

Up to 365,000 jobs will be created in Great Britain by 2015 thanks to Internet technologies and innovation, says vice-president of Google UK, Mr. Schindler.

Google recently revealed its forecast for the UK jobs market. Based on the GDP study by UK economists, the Internet giant said that there will be 365,000 new jobs created in the UK by 2015.

Mr. Philipp Schindler, London-based vice-president of Google, said that Internet now accounts for 20% of UK GDP growth and might even account for more than that soon. He is determined that businesses will successfully exploit the internet in the near future, which will lead to Internet job creation.

In its turn, Google promised to actively expand its business in the UK. As such, it will create lots of job vacancies at its new office in London's Soho.

However, Schindler is determined that the UK Government should contribute to the growth of new jobs by lowering barriers to innovation and technology. “A government – rather than saying where I regulate – should rather say how can I protect and actively create the space for innovation,” claims vide-president of Google UK.
