Snowfalls Result in Flight Delays across Europe

Today's reports suggest that weather conditions in Europe result in significant flight delays and cancellations.
December 2nd is the second consecutive day of slow traffic and flight disruptions, which are caused by heavy snowfalls. As for Great Britain, flights have been cancelled and/or delayed in London, Liverpool and Edinburgh.
Other European cities are also experiencing problems, which cause inconveniencies for travellers. As such, airports in Frankfurt, Munich, France Prague and Vienna delayed flights, while Geneva airport remained closed.
The Met Office issued further warnings for Europe as heavy snowfalls are expected to continue.
Commenting on the weather conditions, Mr. Maurer, meteorologist said that "we've got unusually cold air over large parts of the eastern Atlantic, and where that meets warm air coming for example from the Mediterranean you have a lot of snow." He, however, believes that snowfalls might ease soon, but temperatures will remain very low.
