London Property Demanded by Rich People – Zoopla

A recent research carried out by Zoopla, UK-based property website, revealed that London tops the property rich list.

The annual study performed by the company's experts showed that although the number of people living in expensive houses fell this year, it still stands at 220,000. In this particular case, "expensive" stands for "worth £1 million."

Currently, there are approximately 6,000 streets in London with houses worth £1 million or more.

According to Zoopla, the most expensive district in London is Kensington as the average property located there is priced at £1.7 million. It is followed by Chelsea, where house prices start at £1.3 million. In such districts as Knightsbridge, Notting Hill and West Brompton, houses are worth slightly more than £1 million.

The most expensive street in London is Kensington Palace Gardens as an average price of properties in this street stands at almost £20 million. It is home to Russian oligarchs, Eastern royalty and, of course, Lakshmi Mittal.
