Another Conveyancing Firm Gets CQS Status

Earlier we have already reported that a new accreditation scheme for conveyancing firms was launched in the UK and that some companies have already managed to get rated.

The good news is that another law firm has been recently accredited as a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

Furley Page, Kent-based solicitors with offices in Canterbury, Whitstable and Chatham, is one of the few or maybe even the only law firm in the area to get accreditation by the Law Society.

Commenting on the firm's success, Myfanwy McDonagh of Furley Page, said that "CQS status is recognition of the high standards we provide to our residential property clients and is a signal to future home buyers of the excellent service level, and commitment to our clients, that we offer at what is often a stressful time for many people."

Let us remind that over 1,000 soliciting firms across the UK have applied for CQS status and yet only 240 have been granted it so far. Companies applying for CQS need to undergo a strict assessment, training and audits; they also need to carry annual reviews upon accreditation.
