UK Commercial Property Revives

The level of commercial property construction in London has increased in the past months, meaning that the UK business property sector's long-awaited revival is round the corner.
Property developers are getting back to the sector, the future of which shrouded in mystery with the beginning of the economic downturn.
One of the business buildings, the construction of which resumed, is the Walkie-Talkie tower, which will be located at Fenchurch Street.
To some extent, the resumption of commercial property construction is due to the foreign investments. The vast majority of investments came from the countries of the European Union attracted by the weakened pound sterling.
In its latest report, British Land claimed that it is not only the level of construction, but also the demand for commercial property, that will grow in the coming months.
According to Chris Gregg, British Land's chief executive, the degree of yield registered in the past 2 quarters is not expected to shrink in the near future.
