Mobile Credit Card Processing to Be Launched in UK Soon

As it was announced yesterday, on November 28th, UK will follow in the footsteps of USA and Sweden and will introduce a mobile payment service similar to Square and iZettle.
The CreditCall has developed a mobile payment application that will allow to accept credit card payments via Blackberry and other mobile phones on an Android platform.
The service is to be called CardEase Mobile and is expected to be launched on December, 1st.
The service, which is certified by EMV, is approved by Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Commenting on the coming launch of the service, Pete Alcock of CreditCall, said: "With CardEase Mobile we have done the job properly and engineered the first solution that meets all the current UK requirements, so as to protect both cardholders and merchants from fraud, abuse and chargebacks."
Whereas the service is only available to merchants, Brits might also be glad to know that the credit card processing mechanism will become more accessible and certainly more secure.
