Recently, Barclaycard launched Simplicity, a new credit card with 2-year long 0% balance transfer rate. The card also had a 0% rate on purchases for 3 months and a 17.9% APR.
It was believed to be the most attractive offer on the UK credit card market, which followed the launch of new cards by MBNA and Virgin.
Now, a new product has been announced. An all new Nectar Credit Card by Sainsbury’s offers 0% on balance transfers for 15 months, 0% on all purchases for 6 months and 16.9% APR. It is considered by many financial experts to be a direct rival to Simplicity by Barclaycard, as it has the lowest rate available on the British market.
Moreover, it gets its holders Double Nectar points for every 1 pound spent Sainsbury's for the first 2 years.
