Barclaycard Platinum Back on Top

According to Mrs. Julia Kukiewicz of Credit Card Comparison, Barclaycard Platinum is now the best offer Brits interested in 0% cards can get.

This Barclaycard offer used to be challenged by products launched by other banks earlier; however, all UK lenders downgraded their offers and now Barclaycard, which features 0% on all balance transfers for 16 months, is the market leader.

Such cards as RBS Platinum and Natwest Platinum offer 0% on balance transfers for the first 15 months only.

The UK top credit card also offers its holders a range of rewards, which come in the form of points for shopping at selected stores. The points can then be spent to purchase goods at the same selected retailers. The only shortcoming of Barclaycard seems to be a relatively high upfront fee for balance transfers - 2.9%. Most lenders charge 2-3% on transactions like this, which means that Barclaycard is at the high end.
